Posture
Based in Kent Ohio, Posture is the songwriting vehicle of multi-instrumentalist & producer Eric Vaught.
Posture's debut LP, St. Isidore (2023), is a succinct exercise in power-pop. Written, performed, recorded, & mixed by Vaught, these songs are tightly arranged and swiftly get to the point. Unruly guitars play in contrast with glossy synthesizers as laser-focused melody lines propel the songs forward. St. Isidore is a balancing act - songs cruise along at a familiar and nostalgic pace, but are playfully disrupted by angular and surreal moments.
Posture, now a fully-realized 5-piece band, is currently playing stages across Ohio while Vaught writes their sophomore album.
Blondeglass
Blondeglass is the introspective, ever-evolving solo project of artist Pete Mackensie of Kent, Ohio. Inspired by a vast array of musical inspirations, Blondeglass weaves a delicate tapestry of indie rock, psych pop, synth pop, and contemporary R&B.
Growing up in a musical household, Pete was exposed to a wide variety of music which led him to experimenting with instruments at a young age. Drums & percussion were his first love. Eventually discovering music could be recorded on his phone, Pete began honing his recording and production craft in Garageband. Now, Pete creates and records music in his home studio or in collaboration with others.
