Posture's debut LP, St. Isidore (2023, Small Mammal Records), is a succinct exercise in power-pop. Written, performed, recorded, & mixed by Vaught, these songs are tightly arranged and swiftly get to the point. Unruly guitars play in contrast with glossy synthesizers as laser-focused melody lines propel the songs forward. St. Isidore is a balancing act - songs cruise along at a familiar and nostalgic pace, but are playfully disrupted by angular and surreal moments.
